Cuairt  Bheasdaire/Beasdaire Walk

Beasdaire is of Old Norse origin, deriving from Bolstadhar, a place where cattle are housed, and Tràigh Bheasdaire is a beautiful white strand, or sand-beach, stretching from Baile (Town area of Berneray) to Sandhill.

This trail takes you from the Gatliff Trust Hostel, along the shore to Sandhill, and then back along the road past a variety of sites of historical significance.
